TEXARKANA, Texas -- The city of Texarkana, Texas, is putting its brand front and center with a new web address.
The municipal site is now TexarkanaTexas.gov. However, the former site, ci.texarkana.tx.us, remains active for now.
Communications Director Brooke Stone said the city made the change to provide a shorter, easier-to-remember web address.
The city bought the TexarkanaTexas.gov domain more than a year ago.
